SEETV respects users' privacy and aims to handle personal data responsibly, securely and transparently.
SEETV is a platform for playing and accessing content made available by partner providers. SEETV does not directly produce, host or sell the audiovisual content shown in the application.
1. Data that may be processed
Depending on the access method and the integration used by the provider, the following data may be processed:
- the user's name;
- CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer identifier) or authentication identifier;
- email address and username;
- internal customer identifiers;
- information about the plan contracted with the provider;
- data required for authentication and access authorization;
- device identifiers;
- preferences, such as favorite channels;
- technical access and operation logs;
- information required for the provider to send messages and notices.
When users use an M3U playlist or another address they supply directly, the application may store locally the information required to allow access and make subsequent use easier.
2. Purposes of processing
- authenticate the user and identify the responsible provider;
- make available the programming corresponding to the contracted plan;
- personalize the interface with the provider's visual identity;
- maintain favorites and preferences;
- display messages and notices;
- check the user's access status with the provider;
- improve security, stability and performance;
- provide technical support and prevent misuse.
3. Integration with providers
Some data may be queried or synchronized with partner providers' systems, including management, authentication and plan management systems.
In these cases, the provider remains responsible for the data held in its own systems and for the information used to authenticate its customers. SEETV uses these integrations only to enable the platform's features.
4. Audiovisual content
SEETV operates as a playback platform. The provider or user who registers or supplies channels, playlists, broadcasts, films, series, radio stations, URLs and other available content is responsible for that content.
SEETV does not claim to hold rights to third-party content and is not responsible for the origin, licensing or availability of that content.
5. Data sharing
Data is not sold to third parties. It may be shared only when necessary with:
- the provider responsible for the user;
- technical service providers used for hosting, infrastructure or security;
- public authorities, when legally required;
- services necessary for the application to operate.
6. Storage and security
SEETV adopts technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure or improper destruction.
Some information may remain stored locally on the device to improve performance and enable features such as favorites, caching and session persistence.
7. Children and adolescents
SEETV is not specifically intended for children. If a provider's content or service is directed at minors, the provider must comply with the applicable legal and regulatory rules.
8. Data subject rights
Under applicable legislation, particularly Brazil's General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD), users may request, where applicable:
- confirmation that processing takes place;
- access to their data;
- correction of information;
- deletion of data;
- information about sharing;
- withdrawal of consent, when consent is the legal basis used.
Some requests relating to commercial or contractual registration may need to be addressed directly to the respective provider.
9. Account and data deletion
When an account is linked to SEETV, users may request deletion of their personal data, except information that must be retained for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention or the exercise of rights.
10. Third-party services
The application may use third-party services and technologies necessary for its operation, including server infrastructure, authentication systems, notification services and streaming platforms. These services may have their own privacy policies.
